Video Marketing

November 8th, 2008

Videos are all over the place on the Internet now.  Fast Internet connections mean that it’s now quick and easy for people to view videos online as well as upload and download them.

Video is now an integral part of Web 2 but, as John Reese illustrates in these lessons, not all videos drive traffic.

John has a lot of experience in this area and he spells out quite clearly what type of video you need to produce to get traffic to your website and, also, what you need to do to encourage visitors to join your communication channels so that you can continue sending them messages.

And, not only does this course look at the type of video you should produce, it also looks at how you should distribute video. Everyone has heard of YouTube and they are certainly the most popular website for video sharing, but is YouTube the best way to connect with your prospects? Now that Google indexes and hosts videos, how do you get your video ranked well by Google and the other search engines?

After discussing the big overall strategy for using video as a promotion tool, John then goes into detail about the technicalities of video production. You don’t want your video to look like most of the amateurish junk that we see around every day but how do you produce video that looks slick and professional without spending a fortune? What format should you use? What recording tools are best? John has major recommendations for all these questions.

And there’s a lot more. John teaches how to do research to find out what are the most popular videos produced by compeititors in your niche and what lessons you can learn from them. And how to optimize videos, how to reach your target audience, and how to use social bookmarking sites to bookmark your videos and attract even more traffic.

John Reese is a past master at video and, despite all the in-depth tuition in this part of the course, he actually makes video sound like fun. No-one else teaches it quite like this.

Content Factory

November 1st, 2008

Content Factory is all about creating great content for your website/blog and John Reese makes the point over and over that this is one of the most important parts of the course.

This isn’t exactly a surprise because all webmasters know that a killer page of content can attract a lot of attention. But how do you set up your operation to keep up a production line of great content?

A lot of gurus concentrate their efforts almost exclusively on SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Yes, that’s important, but the truth is that actually no-one really knows what the search engines want and will reward. And even if you do crack the code, the chances are that the rules will change before you’ve had the chance to benefit from your guesswork.

So what strategy should you adopt? John’s answer is a mixture of both quality and quantity.  If that sounds daunting, then be prepared for a jolt. John spells out, in a clear sequence of steps, strategies that any serious webmaster should follow to build website or blog content that will attract traffic for an online business.

There is masses of material in this section and all of it has been proven to work. And creating content is an investment in your business, an asset that grows in value as it grows in volume.

You cannot afford to miss this! See Traffic Secrets 2.0 for more details.

SEO Dynamics

October 25th, 2008

‘SEO’ stands for ‘Search Engine Optimization’ which is a fancy phrase for saying ‘getting your website/blog visible in Google’.

Google is the king of the search engines and, although there are others, what works for Google will work for the rest.

Actually no-one (unless you are one of the top-paid software engineers that actually work for Google) really knows what the formula is for SEO. What we do know is that it changes regularly, so even if you did know, you won’t know for long!

The way people have found out how to optimize a website for SEO has actually been a process of trial and error, and logical deduction.

John Reese has done a lot of this over hundreds (thousands?) of websites and over a number of years and he has built up a lot of experience in this game. And, you can bet, he’s taken the best-paid advice on the subject.

Now, many gurus who teach this stuff make it very technical. They wow you with geek-speak and jargon and make out it’s a job for experts (like them!) But actually, it’s not.

John reveals the techniques he has discovered and sets out some very simple steps that you must follow to make sure that your website will be attractive to Googe and will therefore get found by the people who you want to find it. This is a big topic and there is a lot of material to get through in this section, but when you’ve mastered it, you’ll be well ahead of the game.

SEO is all about getting free traffic and this course sets you up to do just that.

If you’re serious about building a popular website or blog, you cannot afford to be without Traffic Secrets 2.0.

There are techniques in this section that are not known to 95% of marketers. Some of it is very advanced stuff but once you have mastered this material you’ll be well ahead of your competition.

This section of the course is a real eye opener and any Internet marketer who wants to do serious business online cannot afford to be without it.

Market Discovery

October 4th, 2008

One of the first topics that Traffic Secrets 2.0 talks about is understanding your market. This means finding out who your customers are and where to locate them. It also means knowing who your competition is and what’s going on around the Internet that relates to your market.

This is fundamental stuff, but what’s so valuable about these lessons is the techniques that John Reese outlines for getting in front of your market.

The chances are that if you all you do is put up a website, your customers are not going to find you.  You have to go out and find them. Which means knowing who they are, where to find them and how to communicate with them. And it also means knowing all about your competition so that you can beat them.

This is intensive stuff but, without it, you won’t get traffic. John Reese outlines a string of tips and techniques designed to put you and your business where you need to be - in the centre of your market.

It’s this knowledge and intelligence that differentiates you from your competition and puts you ahead. Without this understanding of your market you won’t go anywhere but down.
